Granny with an eye for Simon Cowell gets to meet her dream man

A couple who sing Sex On Fire and a granny who has her eye on Simon Cowell are among the highlights of tonight's X Factor.

A woman who calls herself a "living doll" and a 23-year-old waiter who is getting over the heartbreak of his first break-up also feature in the ITV show.

Tom, 24, and Laura, 29, from Liverpool sing a pared-down version of Kings Of Leon track Sex On Fire to the judges.

Another hopeful, Matt Terry, a 23-year-old former waiter from Bromley, tells Cowell, Nicole Scherzinger, Louis Walsh and Sharon Osbourne that he was devastated after his girlfriend broke up with him just two days before his birthday.

When Terry, who looks like One Direction singer Louis Tomlinson, tells how the heartache "pulled me back a little bit" Scherzinger replies: "Yeah, I know what that's like".

But the two end up flirting and the 23-year-old suggests that they go on a double date as his granny fancies Cowell.

Cowell later meets her and jokes that she is a "future girlfriend".

Judges are also surprised to meet a woman, Sada Vidoo, who insists that she is "a doll", saying: "I dress up as a doll every day."

:: The X Factor is on at 8pm on Sunday night on ITV.
