There comes a point after the summer frenzy, when all you want to do is put your feet up, indulge a few of the things you love, and relax. If the things you love include TV, movies, books, magazines, KFC or Starbucks coffee, then you're in luck, because we have found a way to get them all for free.

Free Now Entertainment and Movies
If you have a Now TV box, the users of HotUKDeals.com have spotted that you can get a free monthly cinema pass (giving you access to loads of films) and a free monthly entertainment pass (with great TV shows). Just go to the website, and use the code ENTFT for entertainment, or MOVIEFT for movies. The entertainment pass usually costs £6.99 a month, and movies £9.99, so it's a decent freebie. Just make sure you cancel before the free trial ends or you will be charged.

Free book
The National Theatre's production of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time has earned rave reviews all round. The stage production is on in the West End of London, and tickets start at £18. If you fancy seeing the show, you can book through Time Out and avoid booking fees. At the moment they are also throwing in a free copy of the award-winning book by Mark Haddon that the play is based on.

Free magazines
If you devour endless magazines, then you might like the idea of Readly, which charges £9.99 a month and lets you read hundreds of them online. If that's a bit too rich for your blood, then you can take advantage of a great offer from Quidco, which will actually pay you to take a free trial. Just sign up to Quidco, go to the offer page and sign up for a month-long free trial. Quidco will then give you £3 for your trouble. As ever, just remember to cancel the trial before the offer runs out, or you'll be charged.

Free KFC side
KFC has its own loyalty app, called the Colonel's Club, where you build up chicken stamps for freebies. At the moment, it's giving you three free stamps just for downloading the free app - which equates to a free side dish. This includes things like two hot wings, regular fries, a regular soft drink, or a small popcorn chicken. You don't need to buy anything - just scan the app and get your freebie. If you eat there regularly you can continue using the app to collect stamps for a free snack, or £5 off.

Free coffee
You can get a free Starbucks Americano 220ml from the chilled section at Sainsbury's at the moment. You'll need to do an online shop, order at least £25 worth of items (or £40 for cheaper delivery), add the item to your basket, and enter the code FREESBUCKS during the checkout process. The deal runs until 20 September, or until the codes run out - whichever is soonest.
