Record-breaking Renault returns to Bonneville Salt Flats

A record-breaking Renault has returned to Utah's Bonneville Salt Flats where it broke four world records 60 years ago.

On 5th September 1956, the Étoile Filante – named after the French for 'shooting star' – famously clocked up almost 200mph to establish four new world records. Incredibly, two of these records still stand today – 308.9kph over both a kilometre, and five kilometres (192mph over 0.6 miles and 3.1 miles).
