Kind man helps exhausted shark back into water

How far would you go to help a dangerous animal in a time of difficulty?

One man went the extra mile and bravely took control of a shark trying to make its way back out to sea.

Footage has been released of the incident and shows a fisherman helping a large shark get back into the sea after catching it on a beach.

The video, filmed off the coast of Ocean City, USA in July, shows the man, who had earlier caught the shark, helping it get back into the ocean after it got worn out during the struggle.

He said: "After catching this shark off the beach, I had to get in the water to take the hook out and make sure the shark would swim off okay.

Adding: "The shark was caught on rod and reel and was worn out."
