Inquest into police shooting victim's death to open

An inquest into the death of a man who was killed by armed police officers when they stormed his home is set to open.

James Fox was shot by police after they entered the sixth floor flat of Picardy House, Cedar Road, Enfield, shortly before midnight on August 30 2015.

The 43-year-old, who had a history of mental illness, died at the scene in north London.

The inquest into the death will be heard before a jury at North London Coroner's Court on Monday.
