Bargain online wedding dress turns into knock-off nightmare

When it comes to wedding shopping, finding your dream dress on the internet for a great price is always going to be good news, but what happens when it goes wrong?

If you're planning on ordering online then it's worth checking out the Facebook page 'Knock Off Nightmares' beforehand.

The page is filled with horror stories of shoppers who purchased dresses online only to find the gowns were nothing like the ones they saw on the site.

Candace, a Bridal gown shopper thought she had found the perfect wedding gown, but it cost $4,000.

"It was the budget of my entire wedding," she said.

Then she found the same dress for just $300. When it came, she was shocked to see a cheap knockoff.

What should have been detailed and high quality beading turned out to be cheap plastic sequins that had been haphazardly stuck on to the dress.

The lesson? If the deal seems to good to be true, it probably is!
