Superheroes are the first big winners at Teen Choice Awards
John Cena and Victoria Justice are in the political spirit at the Teen Choice Awards.
The fan-favourite ceremony kicked off on Sunday with the wrestler-actor and singer-actress respectively dressed as Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump. The gender-bending bit wasn't just for laughs. The pair encouraged teens to register to vote.
The show's first trophies went to a couple of superheroes.
Captain America actor Chris Evans and The Flash actor Grant Gustin were selected as the choice male sci-fi/fantasy stars of film and TV.
Other early winners included Pretty Little Liars, social media star Cameron Dallas and Teen Wolf.
The two-hour ceremony began with a performance by Flo Rida and Bebe Rexha at the Forum in Inglewood, California.
