Incredible revenge on office worker who kept stealing milk

One office worker was so fed up of someone in the office stealing her milk from the office fridge, that she decided to do something about it. She ruled out writing a note warning people off, she decided against staking out the kitchen. Instead, she put a bottle of milk in the fridge at the beginning of the week, and waited to drop her bombshell.

At the end of the week, she added a note to her milk reading: "Good Morning! To whomever has been enjoying my coffee creamer all week... Surprise!!! You've been drinking my breast milk. Hope you've enjoyed. Cheers!" She added: "p.s. It's organic. So no worries." She then uploaded the photo to Reddit, where it has gone viral.

Replies to her post are broadly divided between those who worry it might be a biohazard, and those who think it's a great solution to a problem that's the cause of mild irritation around the world on a daily basis.

Unusual solutions

It's an impressive solution, but it's not the only way to keep your colleagues from stealing from the fridge. Here are five more options:

1. Invest in the right sandwich bag
You can now buy sandwich bags featuring fake mould, to deter even the hungriest thief. You just need to be sure nobody spots you taking the sandwich from the bag later and enjoying it.

2. Label the food - wisely
If adding your own name to the outside of the packaging doesn't work, then try adding the name of someone who is truly feared in the office. Would anyone really steal the CEO's lunch?

3. Take a photo
Plenty of people will add a note to the outside of their lunch saying it has been adulterated, but if this isn't enough to put someone off, you can take a photo of you doing it, and attach it to the food. Your sandwich will be less likely to disappear with a photo of you licking it taped to the front.

4. Cook something that grim
If you have a love for corned beef, haggis or tongue, then you're in luck. Label your food, and you can store it anywhere you want for as long as you like - without any fear someone will feel the need to take it.

5. Bring soup
If you bring a flask of soup, and store it under your desk, it would take a cat burglar to get their hands on it - although we're not ruling that out.
