Pizza Hut has an all new emoji menu

Pizza Hut found a unique way to celebrate 'World Emoji Day' on 17 July.

In six restaurants across the UK, if you want to order yourself a deep-dish with pepperoni you better recognise their corresponding icons.

All emoji menus are being featured at these outlets with practically no other regular wording on them.

Of course you can get an original, worded, menu if you ask but where's the fun in that?

Some emojis, like a chicken, tomato and pineapple are self-explanatory but a crown, devil face and a party popper are slightly harder to work out!

According to the Telegraph, the restaurants offering the emoji menu are: The Strand London, Birmingham Bullring, Liverpool Paradise Street, Edinburgh Hanover Street, Manchester Fountain Street and Cardiff Queens Street.

Kath Austin, Pizza Hut's director of HR and marketing, told the Daily Mail: "We have a huge focus on menu innovation and having already launched a brand new menu recently, we hope customers enjoy decrypting the emoji version as much as we did creating it!"
