Need a bit of post-Brexit cheering up? It's Dallas Zoo's baby elephant to the rescue as he melts hearts playing in a paddling pool for the first time.

The beautiful boy rolls around in total glee in the pool as he's also sprayed by a staff member.

Dallas Zoo shared the video on their Facebook page, and wrote: "Watch our nearly two-month-old elephant calf fall in love with his first kiddie pool.

"Weighing more than 200 pounds, the little guy flops, face-plants, and fumbles in his inflatable pool with absolute delight, making this video just what our hearts need today. (And stay tuned as we reveal our water baby's name next week in a BIG Dallas way.)"

The ellie was born to mum Milo on 14 May.

Lydia Jennings, public relations specialist for the Dallas Zoo, joked: "Believe it or not, the pool is still standing." She added: Now that we know he's such a water baby, we're excited to see him play in the medium pool."

We definitely want to see a video of that.
