Premium Bonds: West Sussex wins big in July!

It looks like West Sussex is the place to be in July if the Premium Bonds results are anything to go by!

the latest release of winners from NS&I shows that the two millionaires this month are not only from the same county but bought their winning bonds in the same month.

The first winner was a woman living in West Sussex with a total holdings of £48,825. The winning bond number in this case was 185NY790207.

Meanwhile a man living in West Sussex was the second millionaire to be announced. The man in question has a Premium Bonds investment of £4,100 and the winning bond number was 185YB202680.

The coincidences continue with both of July's millionaire having bought their million pound winning bonds in October 2011.

The two latest millionaires become the fifth and sixth winners of the million pound prize in the West Sussex region, with the last jackpot won in the region in August 2014.

Could it be possible that West Sussex native and British astronaut Tim Peake bought some good luck back to Earth with him when he returned from the International Space Station a few weeks ago?

Amazingly, this isn't the first time this year that both millionaires have come from the same region.

In January this year some of Leicester City's Premiership luck seemed to rub off on its residents with both millionaires coming from the area.

For the July 2016 prize draw, ERNIE paid out over two million prizes worth more than £64 million in value.
