Kate pretty in pink for gala charity dinner

The Duchess of Cambridge was pretty in pink in an old favourite dress as she stepped out with William for a gala country charity dinner.

Kate stepped out in a rose-coloured Jenny Packham gown for the event at Houghton Hall, King's Lynn, in aid of East Anglia's Children's Hospices (Each), of which she is patron.

She previously stepped out in the gown not long after the couple's marriage when they attended the 10th annual Absolute Return for Kids (Ark) gala dinner at Kensington Palace in June 2011.

Wednesday's event in King's Lynn, Norfolk, took place a handful of miles from the couple's country home, Anmer Hall.

It was raising funds for Each's Nook Appeal, which is aiming to raise £10 million to build a new children's hospice for Norfolk.

Entitled A Taste of Norfolk, the evening saw the couple enjoy a five course meal including dishes by chefs Galton Blackiston, Sat Bains, Claude Bosi, Tom Kerridge and Mark Edwards.
