John 39, from Newport, told SWNS: "It's amazing.

"When we checked the image we couldn't believe our eyes.

"Ever since childhood I've wanted to witness a paranormal event.

"The last thing I expected was a winged entity in a wood in South Wales, but there it is, smack bang in your face - it's solid evidence."

Last year, a mum from Northampton photographed a 'fairy' in a forest while snapping pictures of flowers.

Lisa Wildgoose spotted the tiny flying figure after uploading the photos to her computer.

Speaking to the Mirror, she said: "People have said it's just a mosquito or a midge - and they are probably right - but I just think it's too much of a coincidence that it is wearing what looks like trousers and shoes."
