TV presenter Laura Whitmore is reportedly making more money from endorsements and corporate appearances than she is from her television work.

According to the Sun, she was paid £15,000 to fly to Spain and teach Rafael Nadal how to DJ and mix cocktails as part of a Bacardi campaign.

She's made £60,000 as the face of Ponds moisturiser, and £8,000 simply for being photographed with a Galaxy chocolate bar.

At the Baftas in February she was the 'official red carpet host' for communications firm EE, picking up a reported £50,000 for her trouble. Tens of thousands more have come from Hugo Boss, Magnum and Samsung.

According to the US website Celebrity Net Worth, she's now worth more than £10 million.

And Laura's not only making good money from her off-screen appearances, she's keeping up her profile in preparation for the upcoming series of Strictly Come Dancing.

She isn't, though, anywhere near the top of the tree when it comes to celebrity appearance fees. Kim Kardashian, for example, asks about $50,000 a time - around £35,000.

During the week of her 30th birthday, she's believed to have made $500,000 simply by showing up at a series of clubs.

Lindsay Lohan, meanwhile, reportedly got $350,000 for partying at Pure Nightclub in Vegas on her 21st birthday. Both Cher and Elton John are said to ask £1.5 million to show up at a private party, and Mariah Carey is believed to have been paid $1 million for singing four songs at a New Year's Eve do.

And it's worth remembering that not all of Laura Whitmore's appearances go to bump up her own bank balance. She's been involved in quite a number of charity events, including hosting the British Heart Foundation's Wear It Beat It Afternoon Tea party earlier this year.

In April, she appeared at a charity event to help the homeless and has given her time for many other good causes including Sport Relief and Free the Children. She also sponsors a Filipina girl.
