Running from Saturday until Monday evening, the traditional and historic Whitsun Bank Holiday Fair is back again this May bank holiday on Hampstead Heath. The fair runs all day over the weekend and is completely free to attend with no booking required.

5. Get experimental at Soapbox Science on Southbank

Want to inspire the kids this bank holiday? Then why not get them involved with Soapbox Science at London's Southbank. Soapbox Science promotes female scientists and their work while giving the public the chance to learn from and be inspired by them. 9. Sing your heart out to a Disney classic

One of Disney's best loved films has finally been given a West End makeover and will be making its way to the stage this weekend for the first time in London.
