Mayhem at Monaco as vintage McLaren dropped from crane

This was the heart-stopping moment when a vintage McLaren was accidentally dropped on to the race track at the Monaco Historic Grand Prix – causing further mayhem.

Somehow, the McLaren M23 – which was to have been driven by Stuart Hall – fell free of its fastenings as it was being lifted off a crane, landing squarely on the track.
