Michael Scofield is back behind bars in the new trailer for Prison Break
Michael Scofield is back... but he is locked up in jail.
The first trailer for the reboot of Prison Break has revealed Michael, played by Wentworth Miller, is alive after all - although not in the happiest of places, as his brother Lincoln Burrows (Dominic Purcell) tracks him down to a prison in Morocco.
Fans were left thinking Michael had died when the series ended seven years ago. But the Fox revival miniseries has shown he somehow survived - leading to a reversal of how the series started out.
In series one, Michael had to bust brother Lincoln out of jail for a crime he did not commit. This time, it is Michael who is behind bars.
The clip opens with Michael's young son - also called Michael - quizzing his mother Sara (Sarah Wayne Callies) about his late dad.
And as little Michael wonders if his father could come back, a grainy photograph of him ends up in the hands of Theodore "T-Bag" Bagwell (Robert Knepper).
"Looks like your brother might just be alive," he tells Lincoln.
