Watch the trailer for the Assassin's Creed film featuring Kanye West's I Am a God

The trailer for the highly-anticipated film version of Assassin's Creed has been released.

The movie version of the popular video game series stars Michael Fassbender as Callum Lynch, a descendant of the mysterious secret society of the Assassins, who must use his deadly skills to battle the powerful Templar organisation.

The high-octane trailer is set to Kanye West's I Am a God from Yeezy.

Marion Cotillard and Jeremy Irons also star in the film, which will be released on December 21.
