Leicester City Chairman, Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha, is said to be keen to reward his squad for their historic Premiership title win. He has already promised them a huge party in Las Vegas, and now he reportedly keen to give each of them a £32,000 Mercedes. Are these the most suitable job perks for a footballer?

It's a sign of what an incredible season Leicester have had, that the players' pay isn't structured to offer a bonus if they win - instead they get a share of the cash bonus for not being relegated. The Chairman, however, is keen to reward them.

He has reportedly offered to take them to Vegas for a party, and give them a swanky new car each. As perks and bonuses go, they're pretty impressive, but they are far from the most unusual ways to reward employees. If Leicester is looking for inspiration, there are several groundbreaking ideas.

Perks for footballers

1. A travel budget
Footballers and their loved ones are famed for their holidays, so if the club is worried about losing their players to a club offering more cash, they might get away with offering more travel instead. Airbnb, for example, offers a £1,413 worldwide travel budget to staff.

2. Corporate yacht
Footballers are equally known to be partial to the odd party on a yacht. Leicester could take a leaf out of iCracked's book. That firm is based in a marina and has a company yacht that any member of staff can take out for a jaunt.

3. A plastic surgery discount
It's not that players or their other halves are vain creatures, but if Leicester was to install a health centre offering fake tan and botox they would be following in the footsteps of Chesapeake Energy, and they may get the odd taker.

4. Free bar
Of course, their bodies are temples, but occasionally any player may be tempted to let his hair down. By following the wise example of DPR construction, they could install a wine bar or pub, and ensure that on the odd occasion that a player drinks too much, it is out of the sight of press photographers, and under the watchful eye of their manager.

5. Divorce advice
Manchester law firm Pannone says it has seen a surge in companies funding divorces or offering divorce advice for staff. Of course, nobody would suggest that a single one of the Leicester squad has anything other than a rock solid relationship, but with their fame and fortune set to increase exponentially in the years to come, they might feel safer to know this kind of advice was available.

But what do you think? Will any perks keep these young, talented players at the club? Or will they be snapped up by those with deeper pockets regardless? Let us know in the comments.
