Freak weather around the world: Video

The skies over the UK can often be pretty unpredictable - but it's not the only country to experience freak weather, as this video shows.

This video is an intense collection of strange weather - showing everything from hurricane disasters to freak hail storms.

One clip shows beach-goes running for cover with hands holding their heads as they are hit by a freak hail storm in Russia. People are shown racing out of the sea as the stones rain down on the water creating huge splashes.

Another piece of footage shows bizarre but stunning waterspouts appearing in the water off the Portuguese coast.

The devastating impact of hurricane Patricia is also shown, as water flows through a residential street and winds batter flailing palm trees.

Meanwhile a huge tornado formation is captured tearing through Illinois and extreme temperatures freeze part of Niagara Falls.
