Summer is getting close and many of us are already making plans for some fun.

But before setting anything in stone, you may want to take a glimpse at MASSIV, the new record-setting water coaster opening at Schlitterbahn Galveston Island water park in Texas in June.

A simulated ride video gives a first-person view of what it's like to climb to the peaks, plummet to the valleys, and zip through the tunnels.

Though the final height of the attraction hasn't been revealed, it is anticipated to become the tallest water coaster on the planet.

It's already been announced as Schlitterbahn Galveston's longest slide attraction. Along the 926-foot course are a tunnel, four uphill treks, and a triple drop.

Plus, of course, there will be all that refreshing and exhilarating water.

According to the water park's website the new ride has been built to celebrate the park's 10 year anniversary.

For those thinking this looks a little too daunting don't panic, you can drag a friend along with you! The ride caters for up to two people at a time so you can always have someone there with you to hold your hand!
