Prince George 'walks like Prince of Wales'

Prince George has inherited more than just a family resemblance from the Prince of Wales - he also has the same toddler walk.

A BBC documentary, due to be screened tomorrow night to mark the Queen's 90th birthday, features members of the Royal Family commenting on home movie footage from the archives - including images of the heir to the throne.

When Prince Harry and the Duke of Cambridge were shown a clip of their father Charles as a very small boy striding across a garden, Harry laughed and said "He walks like George, or George walks like him", while William added: "There's a purpose to the walk."

In another scene, the Queen is shown with her young son and a pram carrying the Princess Royal, and the Duke said: "They will probably chase each other around that garden a few times as well."

Harry jokingly refered to George's name for his great-grandmother the Queen and said: "In the early days when Gan, Gan was around".

The documentary also featured Charles, who narrates parts of the programme, praising the Queen's way with horses after he watches footage from the 1981 Trooping the Colour ceremony when a teenager fired six blank cartridges at his mother.

Her horse Burmese reacted, but she soon had him under control.

The heir to the throne said: "She's a marvellous rider, got a marvellous way with horses - made of strong stuff you know."

In the film, audiences will see the Queen and Charles sitting together as they watch and reflect on a selection of private films shot by the monarch and Duke of Edinburgh, and her parents, King George VI and the Queen Mother.

Other contributors interviewed for the programme include the Queen's niece, Lady Sarah Chatto, and three of the Queen's first cousins Princess Alexandra, the Duke of Kent and Margaret Rhodes.
