Nissan smashes world drifting record with a 1380bhp GT-R

Japanese carmaker Nissan has scooped the Guinness World Record for the world's fastest drift after an exciting stunt at UAE's Fujairah International Airport.

With drift champion and titleholder for the D1 Grand Prix series, Masato Kawabata, at the wheel of the specially tuned 1380bhp Nissan GT-R, a 30-degree drift with an entry speed of 304.96 km/hr (189.49mph) was achieved.
