The Easter holiday period may be drawing to a close, but that doesn't mean the treats have to end. If you get your hands on a few extra-specials freebies, you can keep the holiday feeling going for at least another week - at absolutely no cost. This week we have three free sweet treats, a craft activity for the kids - and even a freebie for the dog.

Free Creme Egg
If you're running low on Easter goodies, you can get a top up at Boots until Thursday for free - as long as you are on the O2 network. The free Creme Egg is part of the O2 Priority deals we have mentioned before, and it's another good reason to pick up a pay-as-you go SIM. You just show the code in any Boots store before next Thursday. As ever, it's worth going sooner rather than later because there are only a limited number of eggs available.

Free dog food
Tails.com is a tailor-made dog food, blended to suit your dog's nutritional and dietary needs. You can enter details like breed, age, medical needs and digestive issues, and they'll made food to suit. It's not extortionate because they only sell direct. However, for a fortnight it's an even bigger bargain, because it's free. Just visit the site and enter the promotional code TAILS, and you'll get food for a couple of weeks delivered to your door.

Free Ice-Cream
The users of HotUKdeals.com have spotted that Ben & Jerry's free cone day is on the way again. There's no catch, you just pop down to your nearest participating branch, and queue for your freebie. The Ben and Jerry's website has details of all the stores giving ice-cream away on the day.

Free sweets
You can get a free bag of Organix Goodies apple and strawberry fruit gummies (worth 60p) if you're willing to do a spot of legwork. You'll need to buy them in any branch of Waitrose, and keep the receipt. Then visit the Quidco website (you'll have to join if you're not a member), take a photo of your receipt, and upload it. Then two or three days later you should have the money back in your account. The deal runs until Tuesday, but it's worth going sooner rather than later, as there are only a limited number on offer.

Free craft activities
Playpennies has discovered that you can get a free Weekend Box from the Weekend Box Club. When you join the club, you'll get a free box of craft goodies sent to you, so you can get stuck in with the kids. Normally they cost £4.95 a fortnight for one mini box a week or £7.50 a month for Bumper boxes. It's a lovely idea, but a bit on the steep side, so if you only want the freebie, you'll need to go online and cancel your club membership quickly to avoid being sent or charged for any more.
