Fire runs wild on the Arizona and California border (video)

A five-kilometre wide wildfire has consumed more than 1,400 acres of land across the Arizona and California state border.

Winds fanned the flames and forced the evacuation of a resort and RV parks before authorities began to gain control.

The federal Bureau of Land Management has planned "backburns" to bring the flames under control. No injuries have been reported.
