Ex-Top Gear trio still seeking title for Amazon Prime show

Updated

Jeremy Clarkson's new Amazon Prime motoring show does not have a title yet, but it can now boast a trailer.

The first footage released shows the former Top Gear star brainstorming possible names alongside co-hosts James May and Richard Hammond.

The trailer opens with the 55-year-old asking May and Hammond: "How long can we keep calling it, 'Currently un-named TV show?'"

May suggests various titles such as Auto Mates or Tri Pod.

"That's someone with an erection," May says.

Clarkson recently revealed the results of his "most dangerous stunt" ever: a bloodied nose and blackened face during filming for the motoring show.

He tweeted a photo of his face following a stunt that appears to have taken place in Jordan.

In the absence of an official title, Amazon has created a hashtag for the new series: #TheStillVeryMuchUntitledClarksonHammondMayAmazonPrimeShowComingAutumn2016

Scheduled for an autumn release, the much-anticipated motoring series follows the launch of the BBC's revamped Top Gear in May, which has Chris Evans at the helm.
