Man charged with girlfriend's stabbing murder

A man will appear in court accused of stabbing to death his girlfriend.

Pawel Sroka, 33, is charged with murdering Joanna Trojniak, 29, who he lived with in Meadvale Road in Croydon, south London.

A post-mortem examination found that Ms Trojniak died after being stabbed in the chest in the attack on March 23.

Sroka will appear at Bromley Magistrates' Court on Monday, Scotland Yard said.
