The Easter holiday is always a devil to fill with exciting entertainments for all the family. If you're running out of inspiration and cash to keep everyone happy, then these freebies may help. There's everything from free woodland walks, to free Alton Towers tickets and free fuel to get you to each of them.

Free Argos voucher

If you spend more than £50 at Argos online before 5th April, you'll get a free £5 voucher, and if you spend more than £100 you'll get a £10 voucher. The voucher will need to be spent by the 26th, and you can either pay £3.95 for delivery, or opt for click and collect. There's no minimum spend, so if you have purchases to make - and can split the transactions - you can effectively get a 10% discount. If there are kids to entertain, this could offer the outdoor play/indoor gaming solutions you need.

Free Alton Towers Tickets

Alton Towers breaks are worth checking out for the remainder of the Easter Holiday, because kids go free with each paying adult, and if you stay overnight you get a second day in the park for free. If, for example, you were to opt to stay in the Travelodge in Stafford (near the M6), it may not be the swankiest spot for a short break, but the kids will be free, plus you'll get a second day free in the park, so for four people you'll spend £123.

Compare that to a family ticket for two days at £205.20, and not only are you getting the night in the hotel for nothing, but an impressive discount for good measure. Plus, if you buy through TopCashback you'll get 7.35% cashback (as long as you book by Sunday night).

Free Fuel

If you're new to Topcashback.co.uk, you can sign up online and get £10 cashback when you buy £10 worth of fuel this week. You just make a £10 fuel purchase from Tesco, Morrisons, Sainsbury's, Asda, the Co-operative, Esso, BP, Texaco, or Total. Then register at topcashback, click on 'in-store' cash back, then 'snap and save'. Take a picture of your till receipt showing all the key details, and submit it. Your £10 will be back in your account within seven working days.

Free cosmetics

If you buy April's edition of Glamour magazine, it comes with a Balance Me freebie on the cover. The magazine will cost you £2, and the freebies are worth quite different amounts, so it's worth digging through copies on the shelves either for the one that you want the most - or the biggest freebie.

The options are hand and body wash (which is worth about £4), a face mask or lip balm (both worth about £7), or eye cream (worth about £10). All of them are worth more than the magazine itself, so are worth buying just for the freebie.

Free woodland trails
The users of Playpennies have discovered that a number of forests in England have set up Stick Man trails to keep the kids entertained. These are child-friendly walks around the woods. In some cases, the giftshop will sell an activity pack for £3 with pencils and crayons and a pack for you to complete while you walk around the forest. However, you don't need to buy one of these in order to pop coats on the kids and go and explore these easy walks in the woods.
