Mercedes reveal all-new AMG model

It's not been too long since Mercedes announced the new E-Class but now the German manufacturer has revealed the popular saloon in range-topping AMG form. The E 43 3MATIC boasts a 3.0-litre biturbo engine, which will produce a very respectable 401 bhp. This translates to a top speed of 155 mph with 0-62 coming in only 4.6 seconds.

The engine will be mounted to a 9-speed 9G-TRONIC automatic gearbox which has been specifically matched to the E 43 to get the best performance possible with the aid of a double clutch. The driver can select Sport or Sport Plus for a more dynamic ride or simply select Eco or Comfort for when high performance is not the priority.
