THIS COMPETITION HAS NOW CLOSED

Fancy escaping to the beautiful New Forest this spring? We've teamed up with Pride of Britain Hotels to offer you the chance to win a Michelin-starred dinner for two and an overnight stay at The Montagu Arms.

The hotel enjoys an enviable location within Beaulieu village in the New Forest National park. Established by its legacy as a former Royal hunting ground, the New Forest flourishes with a harmonious blend of wild heathland and ancient trees which play host to a plethora of flora and fauna. As a cherished family-owned hotel and with over 200 years of history, you'll discover a place where the little touches make a big difference.

The Montagu Arms has 22 sumptuous bedrooms and suites, which combine comfort with timeless sophistication. Each room is rich with traditional English character and unique charm, with some rooms overlooking the wonderful Beaulieu Palace or the picturesque garden.

As the only Michelin-starred restaurant in the New Forest and the holder of three AA rosettes, the hotel's Terrace Restaurant offers an unparalleled dining experience and was voted one of The Times newspaper's '25 Best Places for Sunday Lunch' and 'Top 100 UK Restaurants'.

Winner of the coveted Roux scholarship in 2005 and Hampshire Life's 'Chef of The Year 2014', innovative Head Chef Matthew Tomkinson's enticing modern menu captures a delicious and exciting range of flavours, textures and aromas. Tomkinson has forged a highly identifiable style that mixes classic French technique with his love of home-cooked food. Diners can expect richly comforting dishes laced with touches of innovation.

Since the 16th Century there has always been an inn on the site of The Montagu Arms. Originally a meeting place for farmers, timber traders and parish officers, the inn, now known as Monty's Inn, is very much at the heart of Beaulieu. Country fare using fresh, local and organic ingredients and classic English favourites combine with award-winning fine hand-pulled local ales to provide the cosy country pub atmosphere that Monty's has become renowned for with locals and visitors alike. Take advantage of the Inn's ideal location and enjoy something a little more laid back to retire to after your exploration of the New Forest.

Taking ingredients from the forest, as well as the nearby coast and farms, the quality of the food stems from trusted regional suppliers. Suppliers such as Exbury Gardens who are so close, they can deliver vegetables within ten minutes of them coming out of the ground. The kitchen garden also produces a variety of seasonal vegetables and herbs thanks to the nurturing hands of Head Gardener, Barry Daniel.

While you're here, you can stroll to the National Motor Museum, which houses more than 250 vehicles and includes legendary motor vehicles from all over the world. You could also sail from Bucklers Hard and explore the Beaulieu River, one of the few privately owned rivers in the world, and explore the 200-acre earthly paradise of Exbury Gardens, world-famous for the Rothschild Collection of rhododendrons, azaleas, camellias and rare trees and shrubs.

The lucky prize winner and their guest will enjoy a one-night stay for two and will enjoy a Michelin-starred Tasting Menu dinner, plus a full New Forest breakfast the following morning.
