The world's best bargain hotels

This little hotel in Uchisar, Turkey, has been named the world's best bargain hotel in the TripAdvisorTraveller's Choice awards for 2016.

Sakli Konak in has received a host of reviews praising the accommodation and it's staff including: "hospitality at it's best" and "wonderful hotel, wonderful staff".

Sakli Konak is situated in Cappadocia, an area of Turkey that is well known for the unusual stone 'fairy chimneys' that decorate the landscape.

Guests have also praised the hotel's 'home away from home' atmosphere and the 'sumptuous and delicious' food.

The hotel is largely built using the soft stone of the local area and each room has been carefully designed and renovated by local stonemasons.

Two British hotels also made it into the top ten best bargain hotels around the world this year.

The Elm Tree Hotel in Llandudno, Wales was ranked second in the list while the Queens Promenade Hotel was put in sixth place in 2016.
