Motorist refuses to pay fine after making simple mistake

A woman driver was hit with a £100 fine by jobsworth parking wardens - for putting a letter 'O' instead of a zero for her number plate. Laura Ingarfield, 50, tapped in her registration number into the parking machine on a romantic trip to the cinema. A woman has said that she will not pay for a fine that she received from a private parking company – after she accidentally entered a zero rather than an o when putting her registration number into the ticket machine.

Laura Ingarfield, of Cwmavon, south Wales, was issued a £100 fine after visiting the Reel Cinema in Aberavon.
