Angry elephants charge at tourists (video)

This video shows how a herd of African elephants turned on a group of tourists, including a US senator, in an effort to protect their young.

Arizona Senator Jeff Flake was in Africa investigating the poaching of elephants for their tusks.

Flake was taking video in Mozambique when he and his convoy found themselves face to face with the angry elephants.

"They started charging it wasn't just one it was several of them. We had the turn the jeep around really quickly and get out of there," he said.
