Workers generally happy with over-55s the most motivated, says Argos survey

Workers are generally happy in their job and most are self-motivators, driving themselves to succeed, according to a new report.

A survey of 1,000 adults by the business arm of Argos retail showed that over-55s were the most motivated group of employees.

A third of younger workers were keen to work alone rather than part of a group.

The study was published to mark a so-called employee motivation day created by Argos aimed at promoting creative ways of engaging staff.
