Sea lion wanders into gift shop
A friendly sea lion gave customers in a California gift shop the shock of their lives when it wandered in to say hello.
The Cave store is located right on the ocean above a sea cave so the baby sea lion had to climb an impressive 145 steps to make it from the water up to the shop.

After spending about 10 minutes in the store, employees managed to get hold of some salmon, which they used to direct the sea lion back to the ocean.
The security camera footage shows the seaside animal having a look around the shop, standing just metres away from a pair of customers.

The shop's owner, Jim Allen, told Inside Edition that the sea lion behaved very well while inside the shop and didn't bark at anyone.
The Cave Store acts as an entrance to the famous Sunny Jim Cave and the sight is noted as one of the top attractions to see in South California.
Visitors to the cave between May and October can even rent a snorkel from the shop to take a closer look in the waters around the cave.
According to National Geographic California sea lions live along the Pacific Ocean coastline of North America and also around the Galapagos Islands.
The animals can reach anywhere between five and seven foot in size and can weigh as much as 860lbs.
