Nice! Woman cuts her toenails on Tube

A passenger on a Tube train in China left fellow commuters disgusted - after clipping her toenails in the carriage.

The woman didn't seem to have a care in the world as she brazenly put her bare foot on the chair and trimmed away.

According to the Daily Star, the woman carried out the distasteful display of public grooming on the Shanghai Metro train.

According to the South China Morning Post, one user commented: "That's disgusting! I'll throw up dinner from last year's Lunar New Year celebrations."

And, referring to a passenger who ate and threw bits of chicken bones on the floor of a Shanghai subway train last month, another said: "The chicken lady just left, now it's the toenail woman!"

Another user sarcastically wrote: "This woman cutting her toenails is really outstanding. In her we see class, style, respect, honour and 5,000 years of culture."

And one mused: "Foreigners look down on us, it turns out that we do have a problem.

"I bet that when this woman returns home she probably takes a s*** at the dinner table."

Meanwhile, in the UK, the worst Tube stations for crime were recently revealed (although we don't think cutting your toenails factored into the decision-making).

King's Cross topped the list of the ten worst London Underground stations for crime.

Figures released by British Transport Police show that the Tube station saw more than 450 crimes in a year, with almost 90 involving violence, 25 sex crimes and over 200 thefts.

Oxford Circus recorded 344 crimes, while Stratford came third with 344 reported crimes.
