UK weather: Storm Henry to bring 90mph gales
Very strong winds of up to 90mph along with large waves that could flood coastal roads are expected for Monday and into Tuesday, weather forecasters have warned.
After Storm Gertrude battered Britain, the Met Office has now issued amber "be prepared" alerts that will affect much of Scotland.

It says: "An area of low pressure is moving east across the Atlantic, deepening as does so, before arriving across the northwest of the UK on Monday.
Gale to severe gale force west to south-westerly winds are expected to develop on the southern and western flanks of this system, firstly affecting western Scotland from late afternoon before progressing east through the evening and overnight.
"Storm force winds are likely in the most exposed areas. Winds should ease early on Tuesday morning as the system clears away to the northeast."
The Met Office adds: "There is now greater confidence that very strong winds will also affect central and eastern Scotland, including the Central Belt, and the amber warning has been extended to cover these areas and to extend the validity time further into Tuesday morning, with high impacts now thought possible."
Meanwhile, forecaster Leon Brown at The Weather Channel says Monday is expected to be a stormy day as a deep area of low pressure passes northern Scotland.
He says: "A lot of showers are likely over the north, turning to snow over the mountains again in Scotland with blizzard conditions. Strong to gale winds across much of the UK, but increasing to severe gale and storm force again over the north on Monday evening. Gusts again likely to reach 80 to 90mph and over 100mph across the tops of the Pennines and Scottish Mountains.
"Travel disruption from fallen trees to bridge closures and ferry cancellations again very likely."
Mr Brown says that Tuesday will be very windy and colder as winds veer more to the north. "Hail, sleet and hill snow showers are expected over the north but clearer in the south," he adds.
For Wednesday night, there will be widespread frost before the rest of next week turns wetter again from the west.
"Next Friday to Saturday may be very wet across the south and central Britain with gales over the south too," Leon says.
