Photographing animals can be difficult at times: they're unpredictable, move around a lot and can be a tad temperamental.

One photographer recently found this out first hand recently when he went to take pictures of some goats at Queensland Zoo.

Instead of succeeding in his task, he witnessed a rather bizarre interaction between an emu and his camera bag.

The emu, which seems to be loose in the park, appears to have decided the camera bag is a suitable mate.

The photographer can be heard saying: "I don't want to get in its way" while a girl in the background laughs.

Eventually the emu gives up and strolls away while the cameraman goes to retrieve his belongings.

According to Earth Touch News, the unfortunate photographer who witnessed the loved-up emu was Arnhem Peterson, a photographer working for Arnycain Photography and Film in Australia.

The video was originally uploaded on YouTube last year and has had more than 160,000 views so far.
