Chicago is just one of the many cities in America that have installed speeding cameras on their roads, but not all of Chicago's residents have adjusted their driving habits accordingly.

Andreana Stevens, 24, has managed to rack up a staggering 89 speeding camera violations - which equates to roughly $30,000 (£20,389) in outstanding fines.

Stevens has acknowledged that she is at fault but says she has no idea how she is going to come up with the money to pay for the tickets as she said she doesn't have 'that kind of money', the Chicago Tribune reports.

The speeding camera fines are not even her only driving-related woe. In mid-2014 the young woman was pulled over by police for going 88mph in a 70mph zone. She was also charged with a number of offences related to drugs, suspended license and driving without insurance.

Stevens told the Tribune: "I might have to file for bankruptcy just to get out from under it all."

According to the Chicagoist Stevens is a single mother living in the South Side area of the city.

She also told the Tribune: "Everyone in my family uses that car, so to be honest I don't know who was driving for a lot of [the offenses]."

Stevens is pleading not-guilty and is slated to appear in court in April.
