Everything known about Kim Kardashian's stolen ring
Kim Kardashian is arguably one of the most famous celebrities in the world right now, and her social media accounts are a source of information for what's going on in the reality star's life.
But has Kim shared too much? The 35-year-old mother of two was robbed in a terrifying incident in Paris earlier this week, where she was reportedly held at gunpoint.
When thieves in Paris ran off with some of her most expensive jewellery, there's a decent chance they knew what they were getting.
The ring in question, which cost $4 million, featured a 20-carat emerald cut D-flawless, type IIA diamond. That's the purest, most valuable type of diamond in the world.
The ring was designed by famed jewellery designer Lorraine Schwartz and was a gift from Kim's husband, Kanye West.
It wasn't exactly kept hidden either, an Instagram post just three days before the robbery showcased the ring centre-stage.
Schawrtz herself also shared a video of Kim wearing the ring only four weeks ago.
That being said, the thieves will have their work cut out for them because selling a diamond that big, rare and famous will be difficult.
