Did you get what you wanted this Christmas? After all your generous shopping and giving, did you get the same level of generosity from your friends and family, or have you been left feeling a little short changed? If your stockings failed to bulge satisfyingly this Christmas, don't worry, because you can still give yourself a handful of extra gifts for nothing, with these handy freebies.

Free exercise classes
If you've over-indulged, then you might be able to alleviate some of the guilt by booking a free exercise class. It's part of the Parklives initiative funded by Coca-Cola. There are more than 60 different classes available - from Zumba to bootcamp. They all take place outdoors, but once you've worked up a bit of a sweat you won't notice the cold. You can check here for your nearest classes, and take your pick of the great ways to work off your Christmas turkey.

Free virus software
If you have a Barclays Bank account - and you bank online - you can get your hands on some free protection against viruses and other threats. Barclays is offering a Kaspersky software package for one of your devices - so you can put it on the one you tend to use for your banking. It will offer extra protection when you're shopping or banking online, to help keep your details and your accounts safe.

Free Christmassy activities
Over the next few days, if the kids get fed up of all their new toys, it can be handy to have something up your sleeve to keep them entertained. This year, the users of HotUKDeals.com have spotted that there's a handy activity pack, which you can download and print off for the price of the paper and ink - which will hopefully keep them from bickering their way into the new year.

Free postcard
The users of HotUKdeals.com have spotted that Lego has a cool site, that will let you personalise a Lego postcard with mini figures that accurately represent your family - which you can print out and give to the relative you forgot to buy for. Anyone who has seen how long children can spend creating an avatar knows this represents hours of fun for the family too.

Free Galactic Insurance
As anyone who has seen the new Star Wars movie knows that, space can create an awful lot of wear and tear on your space ship. If you're not being blown to pieces, there's some Wookie scraping the paintwork, or a bad guy shooting in your general direction. Fortunately, you can get universal cover for your Star Wars vehicle. Just search for a quote and download your insurance certificate. It is, of course, complete nonsense, but it's a bit of fun for a massive Star Wars fan, and a way to pass the time between multiple viewings of the new film.
