London commuters find mistletoe hanging on the Tube
Christmas spirit is in full force on the London Tube as surprised commuters have been finding mistletoe hanging in the carriages.
According to the Evening Standard, the seasonal decorations were first spotted on the Northern Line and have also been seen on the Victoria Line.

The hashtag #mistletube is trending after being created by mistletoeonthetube.co.uk.
The website reads: "We wanted to bring some Christmas cheer to one of the most miserable places in the capital.
"So we put love on the line and created #mistletube.
"Merry Christmas, London."
The plants are traditionally hung at Christmas for people to kiss under, although we're not entirely sure whether that's actually happened.
Twitter users have been sharing pictures of the mistletoe online:

Some have lamented the lack of 'fitties' to smooch:

While others have spotted a couple of 'cringey' moments. One tweeted:
Never seen anyone look so uncomfortable as the two men who just got caught under a piece of hanging mistletoe on the tube together. 🙊
