Concern as 19-year-old patient goes missing in hospital gown

A 19-year-old woman has gone missing after leaving hospital in the early hours of the morning, police have said.

Jenny Moody was last seen leaving Harrogate District Hospital, wearing a gown and socks, at around 1am on Monday.

North Yorkshire Police said they were "concerned" about Miss Moody and appealed for anyone who had seen the teenager to contact them.

Writing on Facebook, they said: "We are concerned about the whereabouts of Jenny Moody aged 19 years.

"Last seen leaving Harrogate District Hospital at approx 0100 hours this morning.

"She is wearing a hospital gown and socks.

"Any sightings please call 101 and quote log number 23."
