The 2,000,000th Land Rover Defender sells at auction for £400k

Land Rover has auctioned off the 2-millionth Series Land Rover and Defender to raise much-needed funds for the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) and the Born Free Foundation.

Bonhams of London sold the unique Defender, which was designed and built with the help of Ralph Speth and Bear Grylls, with bidding starting at £20,000 but soon rocketing to £400,000.
