Unhappy plane passenger shares picture of woman's feet on armrest

A disgruntled plane passenger has shared a picture of the moment a woman was using her arm rest as her own personal foot rest.

The passenger, known only as Wu, shared the picture on the Chinese social networking site Weibo.

The incident occurred on an AirAsia flight from Bangkok to Xi'an in China. Wu complained to cabin crew when the woman behind her took her feet off the arm rest for long enough to go to the loo.

The crew reportedly said there was nothing they could do, and the lady's feet stayed there for the entire four-hour flight.

The Mirror reports that Wu told a newspaper in Beijing that flight attendants said to her: "I'm sorry. We can't do anything – they're all Chinese."

According to the Evening Standard, Wu said she didn't confront the passenger herself because she didn't want to cause an argument, adding: "I only wanted to post the pictures for my friends to see – I wasn't planning to start a debate.

"I didn't report the case to the airlines either, because I just thought it was water under the bridge. I hope the photos will remind others to be more disciplined in the future, and remember to show more consideration for others."
