Shaun the Sheep memorabilia set for charity auction

Updated

Exclusive artwork and memorabilia created for a popular Shaun the Sheep trail in Bristol are to go under the hammer.

Among the items for sale are Shaun and Gromit figurines signed by Wallace and Gromit's creator Nick Park.

Shaun in the City saw 70 individually-designed sculptures of Shaun the Sheep installed across Bristol, following an earlier trail of 50 more designs in London.

The project was a huge success, with the sculptures raising more than £1 million at auction.

The auction will be held on eBay from December 10 until December 17 and is in aid of The Grand Appeal, the Bristol Children's Hospital Charity.

The Grand Appeal held a similar eBay auction after its Gromit Unleashed trail in 2013.

Lauren Howard, project manager of The Grand Appeal, said: "Our Shaun in the City trail in Bristol this summer was an incredible success, with the whole project raising more than £1 million at our charity auction in October.

"We have now gathered together a huge range of exclusive one-of-a-kind Shaun in the City artwork and memorabilia for fans and supporters to bid on.

"There are some very special items among the lots, especially the Shaun and Gromit figurines kindly signed by Nick Park which are sure to be highly sought-after.

"The eBay auction is a great opportunity to pick up some truly unique Christmas gifts, as well as celebrate everything that 'Shaun in the City' has achieved this year, all while raising further vital funds for Bristol Children's Hospital.

"We hope lots of bidders log on and get involved."
