The iconic Beetle that starred in Disney's Herbie movies has been purchased for an impressive $86,250 (£57,223).

Sold at the Dream Factory auction, held by Bonhams and Turner Classic Movies in New York, the car is the original 1963 Beetle that featured in 'Herbie Rides Again' and 'Herbie Goes to Monte Carlo' films.
