Vehicle clampings rise following removal of tax discs

The number of vehicles clamped following the removal of paper tax discs has reached nearly 100,000, according to the DVLA.

Following the removal of the paper tax discs last October, it appears that clampings by the DVLA has risen by almost 60 per cent.
