Made in Chelsea star Jamie Laing will make a special guest appearance on The X Factor this weekend as the lead singer in a BopHeads music video.

The reality TV star and McVities heir has recorded his rendition of the Cyndi Lauper classic Girls Just Want to Have Fun through the BopHeads app. This app allows fans to create and upload their own short musicideo for a chance to appear on TV in The X Factor ad breaks.

As you can see in the sneak peek above, Laing's face appears on different mannequins, all sporting outrageous wigs in place of his signature blond locks. The star lives up to his cheeky personality with lots of over exaggerated facial expressions, watch the X Factor this weekend to see him belting out the 80's anthem.

"I love the show and although my vocal skills wouldn't get the judges' votes, I'm determined to entertain people with my own cheeky performance of this legendary tune," Jamie said. "It's up to the public to judge this weekend whether I've got the X Factor!"

Jamie is the latest in a wave of celebrity fans who have already recorded and uploaded their BopHeads videos including current X Factor winner Ben Haenow, runner-up Fleur East and 2009 finalist, Stacey Solomon.

Jamie has joined the ranks of thousands of fans who have already taken part and uploaded their recordings since the 2015 series kicked off. The BopHeads app offers a number of tracks to choose from including artists Years & Years, Little Mix and James Bay.

Fans who want to submit their own cover version and get the chance to appear on TV can download the app on Apple Store and Google Play.
