Emirates Airlines Unveils the World's First Two-Class Airbus A380 Double Decker



Emirates has debuted the world's first two-class A380 at the Dubai Airshow. The aircraft is on display until 12 November and is the 68th A380 in its fleet.

Dubai Airshow visitors are among the first guests onboard the brand new double-decker, before it enters service to be deployed to Copenhagen on 1 December.

The two-class configured A380 features 58 flatbed seats in Business Class and 557 spacious seats in Economy Class, as well as Emirates' Onboard Lounge. The newest version of Emirates' A380 features among the widest individual in-seat Economy Class screens in the industry, measuring in at 13.3 inches.

Emirates was the first airline to order the A380 and is the largest operator of the aircraft, carrying almost 47 million passengers to date. Its A380 currently flies it to 34 destinations around the world from Dubai. The airline has ordered a further 72 A380s.

Last month, Jennifer Aniston was announced as the new face of Emirates and starred in her first television commercial for the Middle Eastern airline.

The Hollywood actress showcased her impeccable comedic timing in the light-hearted ad which opened with her looking frantically for the on-board shower and lounge but being mocked and ridiculed by the cabin crew.

Friends actress Aniston reportedly signed a $5 million deal with Emirates.
